Cold weather doesn’t mean there’s nothing to do and no reason to leave the house. From January 19–21, the St. Adolphe Winter Carnival will provide lots of activities for all ages.
The annual event kicks off on the evening of Friday, January 19 with a preteen dance (up to Grade Four) from 6:30–8:00 p.m., followed by a youth dance from 8:30–10:00 p.m. (Grades Five to Nine).
Saturday features a plethora of events, including hockey games for different ages, kids’ dodgeball games, a cribbage tournament at the curling club, and an adults social from 9:00 p.m.–1:00 a.m. This year, the social has a seventies theme, with costumes encouraged.
Sunday features a curling funspiel from 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. and Family Bingo at 5:30 p.m.
