During the first week of March, Niverville High School (NHS) played host to Our Potential, Our Purpose, a two-year travelling national exhibition designed to inspire youth to become global changemakers.

On March 3, Ritchot’s council was given the first opportunity to provide feedback on the future twinning of Highways 59 and 52.

On Wednesday, March 4, the Manitoba Junior Hockey League announced the winners of its annual awards. Among those winners, the Niverville Nighthawks are strongly represented in multiple major categories.

The Niverville Nighthawks erased a third-period deficit to defeat the Waywayseecappo Wolverines 4–2 on Tuesday night, completing a two-game sweep in a home-and-home set and extending their winning streak to seven games.

On March 3, Niverville’s council had a productive meeting, voting unanimously in favour of awarding a tender for the Highway 311 construction project as well as proceeding with the sale of land on which the lagoon currently occupies.

After reviewing proposals from two different developers for a new housing project in Ste. Agathe, Ritchot council made their decision on February 18.
