Niverville’s Craig Tomlinson is throwing his hat into the ring to represent the PC party in the Springfield-Ritchot riding, a provincial seat currently held by Ron Schuler.

On March 7, the Niverville Event Centre will be decked out in purple in celebration of the Agape House’s Purple Gala fundraiser.

It’s a great time to be a hockey fan in Niverville. And while the Niverville Nighthawks continue to dominate in the MJHL, another Niverville squad has been quietly building something special of their own.

It may have taken a little while, but the Niverville Nighthawks looked like a team returning to form Monday afternoon, erupting for four third-period goals en route to an emphatic 8–3 victory over the Selkirk Steelers at the CRRC.

It was a special night inside the CRRC on Saturday—not just because Valentine’s Day brought love into the air, but because special teams stole the spotlight.

For the sixth and final time this season, the Niverville Nighthawks and Steinbach Pistons met head-to-head—and once again, it delivered with playoff-level intensity.
