The Niverville Nighthawks couldn’t find the win column again on Sunday afternoon at the CRRC as they dropped their third straight game, losing 4–2 to the Virden Oil Capitals. With the loss, the Nighthawks stay in fourth place in the MJHL’s East Division with a record of 19–17–3.

Three Niverville residents were bestowed Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee medals this month. A ceremony to recognize them, along with other recipients from the Provencher riding, was held at the Mennonite Heritage Village on January 18

The St. Adolphe Winter Carnival has been a staple of winter for decades. But like so many other events, it was cancelled for several years due to the pandemic.
