Niverville Collegiate’s Junior Varsity girls basketball team headed to provincials this year in Somerset, Manitoba. Despite some great play, the team finished in seventh place in the season-ending tournament which took place March 9–11.
Coached by Nathan Dyck and Alex Graham, the girls lost their final game to the MacGregor Mustangs by a close score of 52–46.
The team was ranked sixth late in the season after wins in the Northlands Parkway Tournament in Winkler and the Immanuel Christian Tournament in Winnipeg.
