He has lived in the Far East, Sumatra, and Egypt—during the 1956 Suez Crisis. He has lived in Chicago, Palm Desert, Anaheim Hills, and Sonora at the end of the Gold Rush Trail. Arts & Culture Aug 25, 2022 Young Local Artist Behind CRRC Bollards A local amateur artist now has a prominent new spot to display her artwork. Over the summer, Jessica Banman, a recent graduate from Niverville High School (NHS), has been painting the concrete spheres in front of the CRRC. She now has five of the 13 spherical safety posts (called bollards) completed with her custom designs, and she intends to complete at least one more. Dustin Krahn, general manager of the fair committee, says that the 2022 attendance numbers were nothing short of amazing.
