Local artist Kate Braun has been drawing for most of her life, but she has recently taken it a step further by displaying her work in tradeshows.

Niverville Elementary School is getting into the Christmas spirit with their holiday production of A Bear-y Merry Holiday. The play will run on December 18–19 at 7:00 p.m. at the Niverville Community Fellowship church.

Students from Grades Seven and Eight at Niverville Collegiate are preparing for their debut of their Christmas program, a musical version of the classic Cinderella fairy tale.

Music fans in Niverville have a new option for experiencing live music. Since September, town residents Becky and Matt Burke have been hosting a series of monthly concerts in their home featuring musicians from across Canada.

If the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear, then Niverville’s Last Call delivered at their upcoming Holiday Dance Party. The cover band teamed up with Whitetail Meadow for an evening of live music, flowing beverages, and a hearty helping of holiday cheer on Saturday, November 24. Last Call started the music-making around 7:00 p.m. and carried on until around midnight.

A Niverville artist has recently had a new piece installed in the village centre plaza of Sage Creek. Darren Sakwi’s sculpture, “Sky Spirit,” was installed on October 15 in the plaza off Highway 59 in southern Winnipeg.
