Spring is here—and before you know it, Niverville’s annual Olde Tyme Country Fair will be here. This year, the fair will take place June 7–8 and feature an exciting lineup of musical acts.

Niverville musician Evan St. Cyr is a finalist in the Cue Tube “Score Relief” contest for creating an original musical score for short film.

The performing arts program at Niverville Middle School thrilled audiences with their version of The Wizard of Oz on March 22–23 at the Niverville Community Fellowship Church. The cast and crew have spent the last three months preparing for the performance with the help of directors Susan Simcoe, Caitlyn Arnould, and Kailyn Dunn.

Local artist Dawn Schmidt is the new featured artist at the Fairmont Winnipeg. Although primarily a landscape painter, Schmidt’s collection for the Fairmont blends a bold, vibrant colour palette with the lively study of Winnipeg’s iconic places and historic streetscapes.

Allison Antonio has spent her whole life telling stories, but it wasn’t until the birth of her son that she decided to actually write a story down and have it published.

Since mid-December, Niverville-based artist Daniel Dueck has been presenting an exhibit of 70 new paintings at The Public Brewhouse in Steinbach. Entitled “New York to Niverville—New Works,” the work explores rhythm, pattern, and sequence in an abstract collection that is bold, colourful, and graphically whimsical.
