The St. Adolphe Nursery School is taking advantage of the warmer weather by hosting a golf fundraiser at Maplewood Golf Club in St. Pierre-Jolys. The tournament will kick off on Saturday, May 25 with a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start.

The fundraiser, called Fore the Kids, is one in a series of events the committee has organized over the past year in an effort to raise money to support the community’s daycare. The not-for-profit St. Adolphe Nursery School is relying on community support to help fund the expansion from a 23-spot daycare to a 113-spot facility.

With the early bird deadline passed, individuals can now register for $140 per golfer, which includes the golf cart, green fees, an all-you-can-eat dinner from Danny’s Whole Hog, as well as transportation to and from St. Adolphe.

By May 7, the event had already sold out of their top sponsorship opportunities, which range from $400 to $1,000, leaving only six hole sponsorship opportunities available ($300).

The day will also include a 50/50, silent auction prizes, as well as prizes for the top competing teams.
