Niverville Searches for Canteen Operator

Share:

The Town of Niverville is accepting applications from parties interested in operating the canteen at Hespeler Park. The Request for Proposals was released on February 12, with proposals being accepted until 4:00 p.m. on March 23.

The town is looking for non-profit community groups, sporting organizations, businesses, or entrepreneurs who would run the canteen in the structure next to the splash pad. The canteen is set to be open from at least May 1 to September 4, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on weekends, as well as during special events and sporting tournaments.

A contract between the town and the successful candidate must be at least one year long, up to a maximum of three years, although the town also has the option to extend that contract by up to one additional year. Applications will be evaluated based on a fixed set of criteria.

Interested parties can find the request for proposals on the town’s website (below).
