Local Couple Launches Delectable Microbakery

Maria and Chris Holbrow are proud to present Forgotten Flavours, a new artisanal microbakery located in Niverville. The couple spent the last two years renovating the basement of their home into a licensed commercial kitchen, fully certified with food health and safety. It covers a modest 705 square feet and doesn’t have a storefront, which is part of the business plan to keep the bakery discreet.

The Niverville Nighthawks gave it a spirited fight on Friday night at the CRRC to a roaring house of fans. However, it was not meant to be as they fell to the Winkler Flyers by a narrow 3–2 score to move their record on the year to one win and three losses.

The first regular season game in Niverville Nighthawks franchise history is officially in the books. It was a hard-fought game, but in the end the Steinbach Pistons were too strong and held on for a 6–4 win over Niverville.
