Otterburne’s Providence University College will soon be expanding its facilities, providing additional space to accommodate new classrooms and campus housing options for international students.

The men’s soccer team at Providence spent the weekend on home turf. On Saturday, they went up against the Assiniboine Community College (ACC) Cougars, and on Sunday they played the Université de Saint-Boniface (USB) Les Rouges.

The Niverville Nighthawks gave it a good show, but ultimately fell short in a 7–4 loss to the Portage Terriers on the road Saturday evening. With the loss, the Nighthawks move to second in the MJHL’s East Division with a record of 6–2–1.

On June 21, festivities took place across the country in celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day.

Robert Pambrun has been working with the Nighthawks as their head strength, conditioning, and sport sciences coach for the past three years. This month, Pambrun will add to his resume when he joins the coaches of the Winnipeg Jets for the NHL team’s annual development camps.

The Niverville Nighthawks have extended their win streak to three wins in a row after blasting the Winnipeg Freeze 6–0 on the road on Friday evening. With the win, the Nighthawks move into first place in the MJHL’s East Division with a record of 6–1–1.

Throughout the summer, Ritchot will be collecting and compiling resident feedback for the carshare program they plan to jumpstart this fall.

On June 25, the Niverville High School auditorium was filled to capacity as hundreds gathered to celebrate what would prove to be the school’s biggest graduating class yet.

For one family and all who know them, September 27, 2024 marks a day of unspeakable heartbreak and grief. It was the day young Maxwell Arthur Kenneth Bilodeau lost his battle with cancer at just four years of age.

A record 65 graduates donned cap and gown this year, receiving well-deserved diplomas from École/Collège Régional Gabrielle-Roy (Gab-Roy).
