With less than three weeks to go before the NHL’s trade deadline on February 25, action has already begun to pick up in front offices around the league. 

A month into the new year, the Niverville Clippers have picked up right where they left off at the end of 2018.

The Niverville Varsity Girls basketball team may have had a rocky season so far, but everyone loves a good dark horse story, and the Panthers are ready to deliver.

Although the current cold weather might want to make you curl up and stay home, several communities are throwing their annual winter festivals in the coming days and weeks. The cold is temporary; family fun lasts a lifetime.

Seven games past the midway point in the season, the Jets sit in the same position they did last year at the 48-game mark: atop the Central Division. And they’ve done so by maintaining a lot of the trends that got them there last season. They’ve had a dominant record at home, high offensive contributions from Blake Wheeler and Mark Scheifele, and a goal differential that once again ranks in the top five.

In a few short weeks we’ll find out if winter is here to stay, or if spring is around the corner, but in the meantime Niverville and the RM of Ritchot have a variety of winter activities to keep you and your family occupied.
