Tribute to a Ringette Coach

A new year has begun for the Red River Rage, the local ringette club which has seven teams competing this year. All of the teams play out of the arenas in Niverville and Ste. Agathe, but the players come from such communities as Niverville, St. Adolphe, Morris, and St. Jean. The Rage has teams for girls of all ages, from beginners to those who are in their late teens.

After four gruelling weeks of tryouts, the Eastman Selects have announced the rosters for their 2019–2020 hockey season.

After a wild start to the season, the Winnipeg Jets find themselves with a 4–3–0 record. The turnover on defence over the offseason has been well documented and the potent offence, led by the trio of Patrik Laine,Mark Scheifele and Blake Wheeler with three goals each, has already had to overcome several defensive lapses.
