Emma and Sidney Green, sisters from Île-des-Chênes, helped Team Manitoba win the bronze medal at the U.S. Box Lacrosse Winter Nationals in Phoenix, Arizona in early February.

It was billed as the biggest game of the season, and the Nighthawks delivered to a full barn at the CRRC with a massive 7–2 win over the Selkirk Steelers.

The first annual Nighthawks Red Carpet Gala kicked off in style on February 23 at the Heritage Centre in Niverville. The fundraising event brought 270 attendees out on a bitterly cold night to meet and celebrate their MJHL home team and demonstrate support for the nascent franchise’s future.

The Niverville Nighthawks continued their losing streak on Saturday night at the CRRC with a 5–3 loss to the Swan Valley Stampeders.

The Niverville Nighthawks have lost their fourth straight game after falling 3–2 to the OCN Blizzard on Friday night at the CRRC. 

After defeating the Canadian Mennonite University (CMU) Blazers 66–62, the men’s basketball team from Providence University College has once again claimed the title of Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference (MCAC) champions.
