The Niverville Nighthawks are geared up and ready to take on another MJHL season as the team looks forward to hit the ice for Friday night’s home opener

The Nighthawks are only days away from the kickoff of their second season, and we’ve got all the details on the lineup.

It’s a new year, and the Nighthawks are back in action this week. After a productive preseason and busy training camp, the team is ready to launch a whole new campaign, once again under the watchful eye of head coach and general manager Kelvin Cech.

As with so many of the Nighthawks’ games against the Steinbach Pistons last season, the latest matchup was a close and dramatic affair. Ultimately, the Pistons came out on top.

On Tuesday night, with just ten days until the start of the regular season, it was a third exhibition win in as many games for the Nighthawks, with the home team coming out on top at the CRRC after a home-and-away series with the Selkirk Steelers. In this one, the Nighthawks broke out to a big 4–1 lead, then held on as Selkirk made it close in the third period.

The Niverville Nighthawks travelled to Selkirk Sunday night and came home with their second win of the preseason.
