The Niverville Nighthawks lost for the first time this season, dropping a game on the road Tuesday night after being blitzed 5–1 by the Selkirk Steelers. With the loss, the Nighthawks move to second place in the MJHL’s East Division with a record of 2–1–0.

Nighthawks fans will have one more reason to unite this season in support of their favourite team. Beginning September 23, the team is hosting a Chase the Ace fundraiser every Monday night at Smitty’s in Niverville.

The Niverville Nighthawks continue their strong start to the 2024–25 season with a dominant 6–0 road win over the Waywayseecappo Wolverines on Sunday night. With the win, the Nighthawks move into first place in the MJHL’s East Division with a record of 2–0–0.

The Niverville Nighthawks will kick off their third campaign in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) with their regular season home-opener against the Winnipeg Freeze on Friday, September 20 at 7:30 p.m. at the CRRC.

The Old Drovers Run golf course in Niverville recently completed its ninth season of men’s league competition. This year, brothers Ty Dilello and Braiden Mahon finished on top.

On Saturday night at the CRRC, the Niverville Nighthawks wrapped up their preseason with a 4–2 loss to the Steinbach Pistons. After four straight wins, this brought their preseason record to 4–1.
