This April, a group of volunteers painstakingly cleaned two of the four baseball diamonds in Hespeler Park. The town was tied up making sure the other two diamonds, which needed a makeover, were good to go for baseball season. The volunteers, armed with gloves, rakes, and wheelbarrows and led by the Niverville Youth Baseball Committee, set out to clean up the diamonds, which were overgrown by weeds and grass. They got the job done over the course of a Saturday morning.
