The House Package Sales position is responsible for managing builder and homeowner relationships through the full home-building process. This role requires strong technical understanding, clear communication, and consistent follow-through to ensure material packages are accurate, on time, and aligned with customer expectations.

This is a consultative sales role focused on long-term relationships rather than transactional selling.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for builders and homeowners purchasing full house packages
Review blueprints and perform accurate take-offs for houses, garages, decks, shops, and renovations
Prepare detailed quotes and complete material packages based on project scope and timelines
Advise customers on product selection, substitutions, and alternatives as required
Create, update, and manage sales orders, quotes, and product ordering
Coordinate with the Delivery Manager to ensure materials are ordered and available according to build schedules
Monitor project timelines and proactively address potential issues
Maintain accurate documentation from quote through final delivery
Build and maintain professional, long-term customer relationships
Support department and team objectives as needed

Qualifications & Skills

Experience in House Package Sales or a related construction sales role
Ability to read blueprints and complete take-offs
Understanding of building materials and construction processes
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Clear and professional communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Comfortable working with estimating software and POS systems (experience an asset)
Proficient in Windows, MS Word, and MS Excel
Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
