Since the winter recreation season has been in full swing for a while now, some folks in Niverville may be wondering what’s delaying the ice at the outdoor rink located at the Centennial Arena.

In the fall of 2019, a group of St. Adolphe residents realised that there was some great potential to create a beautiful trail along the Red River in their town. The Friendship Trail, as they named it, has since become a welcoming spot of tranquillity for all who visit.

The Niverville Nighthawks rang in the new year with a victory at home over the Winnipeg Freeze. With the New Year’s Eve win, the team improves to 17–13–1 on the season.

The Niverville Nighthawks snapped a three-game losing streak on Tuesday night as they defeated the Winnipeg Blues 3–2 in overtime. With the win, the Nighthawks head into the Christmas break with a 16–13–2 record, which places them in fourth position in the MJHL’s East Division.
