The Nighthawks threw everything but the kitchen sink against the Winkler Flyers on Sunday evening but fell a little short, losing 3–1 on the road. With the loss, the Nighthawks move to third place in the MJHL’s East Division with a record of 10–4–1.

In what may go down in history as one of the most dominant wins in franchise history, the Niverville Nighthawks took it to the Winnipeg Freeze on Friday evening at the CRRC with a monstrous 11–3 victory. With their fourth win in a row, the Nighthawks move into second place in the MJHL’s East Division with a record of 10–3–1.

Last week, Niverville Nighthawks head coach and general manager Kelvin Cech was announced by Hockey Canada as one of eight Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) coaches who have been selected to lead Team Canada East and Team Canada West at the 2023 World Junior A Hockey Challenge in Truro, Nova Scotia this December.

The Niverville Nighthawks kickstarted the 2023 MJHL Showcase on the right note with a 5–2 win over the Dauphin Kings on Monday afternoon at the Seven Oaks Sportsplex. This keeps the Nighthawks in third place in the MJHL’s East Division with a record of 8–3–1.
