The St. Adolphe Childcare Centre has been busy fundraising for their expansion, adding a Halloween Spooktacular event at the end of October.

In the spirit of interactive dialogue, the RM of Ritchot held a series of open houses in each of their five communities in the first weeks of December. Three topics were presented for discussion: the recreation master plan, improved internet services, and the Ritchot Connect app which will provide better communication between the RM office and residents.

A professor from Trinity Western University in British Columbia is poised to launch a two-part lecture series at Providence’s Otterburne campus, which will be free of charge and open to the public. The series, entitled “Can We Talk? The Role of Apologetics in Contemporary Public Discourse,” will take place on October 30.

Ducks Unlimited’s Tourond Creek Chapter is celebrating their thirtieth anniversary with an event at Whitetail Meadow.

This year’s St. Adolphe Parish Fall Supper is taking place Sunday, October 14 at Pioneer Hall in St. Adolphe. A great dinner is lined up including turkey with all the trimmings, meatballs and gravy, vegetables, mashed potatoes, a selection of salads and coleslaws, beverages, and a variety of desserts.

Ruby Wiens has sat on the Hanover School Division’s board of trustees for 12 years, having served three full terms representing Ward 1, which includes her hometown of Niverville as well as Kleefeld, New Bothwell, and the Crystal Springs Hutterite colony.
