Niverville’s town council met for a very brief meeting on Tuesday, January 4 at 9:00 a.m. Councillor Kevin Stott was excused due to illness.

Manitobans are facing a growing number of postponed surgeries and diagnostic procedures. At last count, an estimated 160,000 procedures had been cancelled or pushed back, affecting local residents from a variety of demographics, all of them in a prolonged wait and being forced to face tough conditions.

In response to the escalating surge of COVID-19 cases in the province, the provincial government announced on January 4 that in-person classes would be further delayed.

Lynley Box of Niverville is a licensed physiotherapist who is bringing a unique service to the area.

Niverville’s town council held their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, December 21 at the Community Resource and Recreation Centre.

A new doctor has joined the Open Health Niverville team to provide same-day/next-day care. Dr. Henry Wood will serve the clinic in a temporary capacity to provide these services while three doctors are away on maternity leave.
