As of November 1, the Hanover School Division (HSD) will welcome its newest staff member, Marlin Adrian. Adrian has been appointed to the position of assistant superintendent, replacing outgoing Colin Campbell.
“With 25 years of experience in the HSD, Marlin brings a deep understanding of the division’s history, values, and priorities,” says an HSD news release. “Throughout his career, Marlin has shown a commitment to fostering collaborative relationships with students, parents, staff, and fellow administrators, promoting a positive and cooperative work environment. His diverse background will equip him to contribute meaningfully to the division’s continued success.”
Adrian holds a Master of Educational Administration and has been serving, most recently, as the principal at the Landmark Collegiate. Prior to that position, Adrian filled the role of vice-principal at the Green Valley School.
His teaching career, which spans over 17 years, included some years at the Steinbach Regional Secondary School as well as the Steinbach Junior High School.
Adrian will be working alongside Superintendent-CEO Joe Thiessen who is also new to the HSD administrative team this year.
