Since October 2022, one Ste. Agathe resident has been vigilantly working to save his land from being deemed forever idle and unproductive. On May 17, Guy St. Hilaire made a heartfelt appeal to the Ritchot’s council for help in his battle.

On May 16, Niverville’s council approved the first reading of a new bylaw which places regulations on mobile food trucks in the community. This is in response to requests they’ve received in recent years from come-and-go vendors looking for busy local spots to sell their wares.

From the Inkwell, an evening of storytelling, was held on May 15 at Hespelers Cookhouse & Tavern in Niverville. Presented by local entrepreneur and writer Trevor Martens, the event featured 12 amateur writers reading excerpts from their creative works.
