This past weekend, the St. Adolphe Minor Hockey Association played host to ten co-ed teams as they battled it out to win the 2023 Hockey Manitoba U13 A1 provincial hockey championships. It was the first time St. Adolphe had hosted such an event in well over a decade.

Ste. Agathe hosted this year’s U11A1 hockey provincials from March 3–5. Nine teams from across Manitoba participated in the competition, including the Niverville Clippers, a team made up of kids from both Niverville and Ste. Agathe.

It was another rough night for the Niverville Nighthawks on the road as they fell to the Swan Valley Stampeders by a dominant 6–1 score. With the loss, the Nighthawks slid to 24-27-4, which remains good for fourth place in the MJHL’s East Division—and four points up on the Selkirk Steelers, who are chasing them in the standings as the regular season nears its end.

The Eastman South U13AA hockey team is having a banner year. In fact, the team hasn’t lost a single game this season.

The Niverville Nighthawks picked up a massive 3–2 shootout win on the road against the Dauphin Kings on Friday night to improve their playoff chances. With the win, the Nighthawks move to 24–24–4 on the year.

The Providence University College (PUC) Athletics Department has had a momentous few weeks, with several sports seasons coming to an end.
