The Niverville Nighthawks put together one of their biggest wins in franchise history, defeating the Winkler Flyers by a 6–1 scoreline at home at a packed home crowd at the CRRC on Sunday night. The best-of-seven series is now tied at one game apiece.

For the third straight year since joining the league, the Niverville Nighthawks have reached the MJHL playoffs. Also for the third straight year, the Nighthawks have finished fourth in their division and will go up against the top-ranked team in the league in the first round.

The Niverville Nighthawks were once again able to get the upper hand on the Portage Terriers with a vital 4–2 win on the road on Saturday evening. The win pushes the playoff-bound Nighthawks to an overall record of 34–20–3.
