Some of us have had the privilege to take skating lessons when we were young, less fragile, and able to bounce back up from a hefty fall. Others of us, frankly, weren’t that interested in learning how to skate.

The Niverville Collegiate Varsity Boys volleyball team have earned a berth in the AA provincial tournament to be held in Carman, December 1–3. They enter the tournament ranked number one in the province at the AA level. 

It’s official: the Île-des-Chênes Minor Hockey Association (IDCMHA) will have ten home teams this year. After four weeks of practices, all teams were on the ice for the first Saturday of the regular season—eight at home and two away.

Another hockey season is upon us here in Niverville/Ste. Agathe! We are extremely fortunate to have yet another record year when it comes to registration numbers. To put it in perspective, Clipper Ice Sports (CIS) is almost at the same number of children registered to play as the City of Steinbach this year. We also have something we haven’t had for quite some time: a Midget team. Another bonus this year is four Novice teams (in the past, we’ve had just three).
