The Niverville Nighthawks closed out their home preseason schedule in convincing fashion Friday night, earning a 4–1 victory over the visiting Steinbach Pistons at the CRRC. The win boosts the Nighthawks’ preseason record to 3–1–0–0, with just one game remaining before the regular season begins.

The Niverville Nighthawks and Winnipeg Blues delivered an exciting display of hockey on Wednesday night at the CRRC, with Niverville emerging victorious in a wild 6–5 overtime decision. The game was a back-and-forth affair that saw both teams capitalize on power plays and exchange momentum-shifting goals, ultimately leading to a dramatic overtime finish.

The Niverville Nighthawks earned their first win of the preseason on Tuesday night, defeating the Selkirk Steelers 3–2 in a shootout to close out a home-and-home series between the two clubs.

Despite a recent stretch of cooler weather, winter still feels a ways off. But on Sunday afternoon, it felt a little closer. Junior hockey has officially returned to Niverville, with the Nighthawks opening their 2025–26 preseason with a spirited 5–2 loss to the visiting Selkirk Steelers.

Earlier this year, the old play structure at Ècole St. Adolphe School (ESAS) had to be deconstructed after many decades of use. It was deemed, by a safety officer of the school division, to have reached the end of its functional life.

The Niverville Nighthawks are set to open training camp on Tuesday, September 2, bringing together a mix of seasoned veterans and promising young talent all aiming to earn a spot on the opening night roster in just over two weeks.
