The second floor of Bistro 290 in Niverville will look very different the next time you visit. Black Chair Marketing has leased the space, moving their offices from just off Portage Avenue in Winnipeg.

Niverville’s Service to Seniors is hoping to give back in a big way by participating in the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s on June 1. The annual event will start at the Heritage Centre at 9:45 a.m. before following a route along Main Street to Fifth Avenue, ending in Hespeler Park around 12:30 p.m. where walkers will be greeted with a free barbecue lunch.

On May 7 at 9:00 a.m., Niverville’s town council gathered at the Heritage Centre for their bimonthly public meeting.

On April 27, the Wildlife Haven Rehabilitation Centre (WHRC) held its first annual Solaris Arctic fundraising gala. The centre, located in Île-des-Chênes, had much to celebrate, including more than three decades of work in wildlife rehabilitation and preservation.

For many residents, what happens to their garbage is of little concern to them after it leaves their driveway on pickup days.
