A woman from Niverville wants to help ensure that every child in Niverville has a birthday to remember, regardless of their family’s circumstances. To make sure that happens, Nicole Savard is reaching out to her fellow townspeople and asking for some help.

Niverville’s council met virtually at 9:00 a.m. on March 2 to discuss a variety of items on the town’s agenda.

The province has announced that further pandemic restrictions will be lifted on Friday, March 5. This decision comes after a period of public consultation. The majority of respondents indicated they were somewhat or very comfortable with expanding the reopening efforts

Last October, the provincial government launched the Fire Protection Grant program, designed to distribute $5 million to support fire protection and emergency response initiatives across the province. In the final analysis, the government ended up nearly doubling the fund, selecting more than $9 million in projects.
