As of March 15, Manitoba’s pandemic provincial response level is set to green. If regular winter travellers didn’t jet-set during the coldest months of the year like they usually do, many are now giving themselves the green light to do just that.

Niverville’s town council met on Tuesday, March 15 for a regularly scheduled meeting to discuss a few minor issues on the town’s agenda.

The RM of Ritchot held their regularly scheduled council meeting on Wednesday, March 16. For the time being they are continuing to use a hybrid meeting model wherein the council meets in person but there is also an online and phone format available for participants to join.

For Manitobans, March is the time of year when we’re most ready for winter to leave. Anyone who made new year’s commitments surrounding health may be feeling discouraged. The exceptional snowy weather has many of us feeling the winter blues, and pain issues have been acting up because of the intense cold.
