New Covid Cases Crop

On Wednesday, one new cases was reported in the Niverville/Ritchot health district, bringing their active case load up to four. A new cases was also reported in the Hanover district.

The greatest risk continues to be in the city of Winnipeg, where cases have been rising quickly in recent weeks. The city now has 340 active cases, 30 more cases than yesterday, with the largest concentrations in the downtown, River East, and Seven Oaks health districts. Cases have cropped up at several city schools as well as in nursing homes. This week, three new deaths have been recorded.

The following information will be revised daily as new local cases are announced by the province.

Niverville/Ritchot: 4 active, 50 recovered, 1 death.

Hanover: 2 active, 8 recovered, 1 death.

Tache: 1 active, 7 recovered.

St. Pierre/De Salaberry: 0 active, 0 recovered.

Steinbach: 3 active, 27 recovered, 5 deaths.
